Don’t chew gum – it’ll cause you to salivate making you unnecessarily hungry! The same goes for breath mints. If you don’t believe me, see for yourself.

Stay away from fruits – they have a lot of sugar, especially the riper they are. But, if you’re having a sweet craving, try to stick to a fruit that is less ripe.
White carbohydrates also turn into sugar. I tried to avoid almost everything that was white – pasta, potatoes, bread, etc.
If you stop eating carbs and cut out all the sweets you eat, you will stop craving them. Your body will learn to live without them and you’ll be better off for it!
Be wary of those 100 calorie packs! Look to see how much sodium they have in them. There are much better ways to consume 600 calories throughout the day than through those.
Weight Watchers Oatmeal Cookies – I loved these things. They are 90 calories each and individually wrapped. I would keep 2 in my purse just in case I would get hungry, I had something quick to grab.
Make Dinner FUN! If you and your girlfriends all want to try and lose weight – do it together. Make dinner together. Set the table with your cutest dishes. Make it more about spending time together than about the eating itself. Plus, if you have other people around – you’ll feel more accountable. AND – you’ll be more distracted!
